Dear �ܲ���Ƶ Community,

As part of our shared commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment, all faculty and staff are required to complete the University’s online Preventing Discrimination & Harassment training. This training is now required annually in compliance with the 2020 Title IX regulations and helps ensure that every member of our community can work and learn in an environment defined by dignity, safety, and respect. If you are currently receiving reminder messages stating you have not yet completed your training, please complete it as soon as possible.

This training is assigned to all new hires shortly after their start date and reassigned to all faculty and staff annually, based on date of last completion. Therefore, everyone will not receive assignments or have training due at the same time. Your specific deadline will be communicated in your individual assignment and reminder emails.

How to Access Your Training

You will receive your training assignment via email.

• Look for emails from our training vendor, Vector Solutions, on behalf of �ܲ���Ƶ (from an email address ending in @safecolleges.com).
• Your personalized login link (a “Go to your training” button) will be included in the message.
• Training is due 30 days from date of assignment for new hires and 60 days from date of assignment for repeat training.
• Weekly reminder emails will continue until the training is completed.
• If you do not see your assignment email, please check your Junk/Spam folder.

Training Format/Confirming Completion

• The training generally takes approximately 60 minutes to complete and consists of three main sections:
  1. Pre-assessment – questions assessing your knowledge of the topics before reviewing the content
  2. Gateway – interactive training content (including audio, video, and text)
  3. Final assessment – questions assessing your change in knowledge after reviewing the training content
• The training does not have to be completed all at once. Your time is valuable, and we recognize the many demands on it, including the increased number of compliance training programs. For your convenience, it is self-paced — you may log in and out as needed, and your progress will be saved automatically.
• Upon completing the course, you will immediately receive a certificate stored in your Vector LMS account (with the option to download it or take a screenshot for your own records).
• In order to receive credit for completing the training, be sure to complete all steps as prompted on each page of the training until you reach the end and are presented with your certificate of completion.
• If you believe you have already completed your training, but you continue to receive reminder emails, simply click the “Go to your training” button in the reminder email to log in and confirm your completion status (it’s possible that you reached the end of the training content but did not complete the final step and receive your certificate).
